Lauer Fine Jewelry Service's owner and operator, Bruce Lauer, is a professional designer and bench jeweler with more than 30 years of experience.  

Bruce learned his trade working alongside other skilled bench jewelers and studying at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). He continues to refine his craft through seminars at American Gem Society (AGS)Conclaves and Illinois Jewelers Association conventions.

Bruce earned his diamond grading certificate from GIA in 1988 and earned his Registered Jeweler title from AGS in 1989. He was a member of Illinois Jewelers Association Board of Directors from 1992 thru 2004 and President of IJA 2000-2002.
